The Boy with the Birthmark is an unofficial nickname for the boy not known by his name, identified by his birthmark. He is one of the few characters not to have their name mentioned and is seemingly insignificant as a character. He is a smaller boy compared to the Biguns. His birthmark is on his face and said to be "mulberry-coloured". He is the first boy to die, as he is killed in a fire. However at the end of the novel, Ralph fails to acknowledge him as one of the deceased people, bringing added significance that he is not considered important.
- He is Henry's cousin.
